Project Management Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for project managers. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Right now I'm manager in a small start-up. Getting Budget for project management tools is difficult, if not impossible. This force me to concentrate on open source project management tools. However I always found it little difficult to find right tool at right time. This force me to make a list of tools, which I'm now sharing so that it could be extended with time.

Asking which tool is best is a never ending debate as it is a matter of personal choice. However it is equally important to have a list of all available options; making choice is possible only when options are available.

I'm listing out some of the project management tool category and options available in the category; only open source options; not even feature limited part of paid option. No answer/debate is needed here; just list down the tools and let everyone go through the options and decide their preference.

Hi Kapil, while I applaud your efforts, putting together lists of things isn't what Q&A is about. If you're interested in seeing some questions about tools, we do have some in the tools tag. Please see the faq and How to Ask for more guidance on what types of questions fit our framework. Good luck! – jmort253 Sep 24 '12 at 21:49

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. For help clarifying this question so that it can be reopened, see the FAQ.
