May 14, 2014 at 5:05 comment added Luceos If you would be doing scrum, you would also be doing some kind of proper scrum planning. Eg with scrum poker etc. Getting experienced with accurate planning will take time, but eventually it will be possible for the team to more accurately plan the sprint.

Instead of making best use of existing practices, he may want to do a complete overhaul of the organization regardless of the costs. Been there, seen that. The worst thing of all is having a row of idealists enthusiastic about (different) management fads...
