My expertise is in project controls such as Planning, Scheduling and Dependency Management. I’m also proficient in all the wider Programme Management Office functions such as Risk, Change Management and Quality Assurance etc. As a proven coach, I’m adept at raising the skill of those with less or no experience in planning to a practical level and am more than able to transfer my skills. Since December 2013 I have been leading on developing project management planning capability in the Department of Energy and Climate Change, a UK Government Department.
- Prior to that, I held a Head of Profession in Planning role and was responsible for project planning and planning capability across the Home Office IT portfolio.
- I have also been the lead planner on a major Home Office Programme until its succesful conclusion in 2012.
- I joined the PM profession in 2001, when I supported a major Programme for the Child Support Agency, as well as numerous smaller projects within the Department of Work and Pensions.
