I worked in management improvement. As I had difficulty getting IT staff to make changes (always too busy) I started to code myself to get what I needed. That lead me into software development more and more. I was program managing software development and doing some myself for several years.

Now I work for myself running a collection of websites and doing some management consulting (based on Deming's management ideas).
